I served as Creative Assistant for Dot Products, a company whose mission is to empower students. School supplies bought through the shop allow the opportunity for students around the world, in places such as Central America and East Africa, to get an education.
Some of my responsibilities included creating graphics for the website, social media, and print. I photographed products for listings on the website as well as marketing on Instagram.
For the 2017 Holiday Gift Guide, I reached out to student artists, hoping to share their work and equip them to sell their work during the holiday season. It was primarily featured on Instagram, in posts and a series of story graphics.
Following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey in 2017, the owner of Dot Products gave me the opportunity to make a difference. I designed, hand-painted, and promoted “Texas Forever” journals to raise money for the relief efforts.
